Alaska, Here We Come!

Tonight is our last night in Kirkland. Dan is his usual basket case self and Bradley has taken on some of his stress. They are both wrecks. Poor Bradley doesn't even know what is in store for him tomorrow. Luckily, Bradley will have a tranquilizer for the flight tomorrow and I am thinking about slipping one to Dan! With all Dan's stressing I have been wondering why I have been totally mellow during this process. I think it is a combination of 2 things. First of all, my mind is preoccupied with thoughts of hypothermia and moose attacks. (This is making me think that most of my life stressors come from irrational fears). The other is that I think since getting married I have been able to relinquish control to Dan and now he gets to be the responsible adult. Either way, while Dan continues to fret over the practical things I will keep on worrying about all the other stuff! Tomorrow my main concern will be how to attract as little attention as possible at the airport with 4 carry-on bags, 4 enormous checked bags, 1 large dog crate, 1 stoned dog, and possibly 1 stoned husband.
On a side note, the Tampa Bay Rays, (formerly known as the Devil Rays) are going to the world series. I like to call them the Jesus Rays because they took the "Devil" out of the team. Now look at them, they were terrible and now they are awesome. Coincidence, I think not.
