Mariners Game

Yesterday Dan and I took the trusty bus to a Mariners game. I am loving this whole bus thing! It is cheap, relaxing, and I feel like I am doing my small part to save the world. It does take longer to get anywhere, but I don't mind because the people-watching is so entertaining! There always seems to be someone on there that has lost there mind and it is so silly!

Our seats were great, we were ten rows up behind home plate. The Mariners played the Minnesota Twins. I am pretty sure that both teams are not very good. So, the game itself wasn't very good, but we had a fun time. The weather was nice, a little warm for Dan, but there was a nice breeze. Why is it that, without fail, there is always someone near you at a sporting event that has to yell rude things? It is almost humorous how ridiculous these people are, but really, they are just jerks. Why do they spend the money to come to the game to have a miserable time? I just don't know. I told Dan that if he ever acted like that, I wasn't sure if I would like him anymore. He laughs and says it is part of the fun, but I don't think the guy was having fun.

Oh, one more thing about the bus, it goes... UNDERGROUND during the week! It was really cool. I think it is there way of phasing in the Amtrak that is coming next year, but it is really nice down there. We are definitely enjoying living in a big city, (big compared to Tallahassee, that is).
