Another Moose!

Mission Accomplished! We saw a mama moose this morning! It was thrilling feeling like our lives were on the line! Not really, but it was intense!

Dan picked me up from work at the usual spot but he was all giddy when I got into the car. He was like, "guess what!?" and I thought that he had taken care of a bear malling at work that night. He said it was even better! Before he picked me up, he took the back road around the hospital hoping to see a moose, and he did! So, we looped back around to get a look at her and there she was! The hospital staff knows her and her kids well; she lives on the hospital property somewhere. She was just cruising down the street. We got so close, I thought she would turn and make a run for the truck. Luckily, she acted like we weren't even there; like she was a celebrity and we were the paparazzi! After we began to drive away, her son or daughter came up right behind her. We decided not to turn around for another photo because they are very protective of their kids. But, I think we will have to look for her in the mornings now. It is amazing how big they are. She was easily as tall as our truck!
