Yesterday was a great day! The weather here has been warm (above 30 degrees). We thought it would be a fun time to try our hand at snowman making. We have made sandcastles before and we had some snow experience from the great blizzard of '89 that Tallahassee had. However, we were in no way prepared for the skill involved in designing snowmen. It took us a while, but after some shaping and reshaping, developing our own techniques, and avoiding the yellow snow, we had two snow people and a snow dog. We were so proud of our finished product! I am not putting up a picture of them quite yet, but you will see them soon!

For dinner, Dan and I went back to the Moose's Tooth for beer and pizza. It has quickly become our favorite place to eat. We had a chicken ranch pizza (awesome) and sampled several different beers, all excellent.

Today we picked out our tree. Sadly, we didn't hike out in the woods to get it, but it is beautiful all the same. I made some wassail and we listened to Christmas music as we decorated the little tree. It was nice doing something familiar. Between the snow, snowmen, and the Christmas tree, we are definitely in the holiday spirit!
