Into the Wild?

For the past several weeks we have been talking with our recruiters trying to figure out where we will be going next. We put in our application to several places, but we were not hearing from anyone. While we were back at home, my mom asked if there were any jobs in Alaska. I laughed and said that there was no way I could be in weather that cold. The next day, a job opened up in Alaska and we went ahead and told our recruiters to send them our application. That afternoon, we got a call from the NICU nurse manager and began discussing the possibility of taking a job in Anchorage, Alaska. Today, we got word from our recruiters that the hospital has put in offers on us both and pending signing the contract and getting our licenses, we will be starting October 27th! We are both very excited and nervous and even scared for the turn that this journey has taken. Anchorage is about 2100 miles from Seattle, so we will be gearing up for another road trip in 3 and 1/2 weeks! Our biggest issue now is finding a place to stay that will let us have Bradley with us. I wonder if he will like living in the snow, we will have to train him to pull a sled!
