For those of you who do not know, I am in LOVE with Jason from the bachelorette! Yes, this is a real, school-girl, full out crush! He was my fav from day one and he lives, where else, but good ol' Kirkland, WA! For those who are not aware, the bachelorette is an awesome reality tv show, but, sadly, Jason was not the victor. My only hope was that I would some day get to meet this lovely bachelor, and I got my chance tonight!
We went to the "Kirkland Uncorked" Wine festival today and we had a blast! We got to taste wine from local Washington wineries and look at some fun vendors from around the area. I tasted mostly Rieslings, but I tried a couple of red wines which were excellent. Along with the wines, we got to tour some boats in the marina. They were really more like yachts and they were so cool! We could totally live on one! Towards the end of the festival, ther

e was a chef cooking competition. They had to cook a meal with Prawns, which are enormous shrimp. They had three judges and guess who was a judge!? Jason! I was so excited and telling everyone around me how much I loved him. I was certainly not alone! At the end of the competition, much to Dan's dismay, I went to get a picture with Jason. Jason goes, " You are so smiley!" My response was, "This is my husband, Dan!" Everyone was laughing and I felt like a fool! But, we got the picture, and he told Dan to come out and see him at the Mariner/Red Socks game, (He will be throwing the first pitch at Tuesday's game). I was on cloud 9 the whole way home!
Work on Friday was great! The lady I worked with, Ann, was very friendly and a great nurse! They do things a little differently, but I am sure that I will have a great time! It was great being back with the babies, I had been gone for almost three whole weeks! This unit does c

omputer charting, which is much different from TMH, but by the end of the day, I was getting used to it. Dan's first night is Sunday night, but he has already been in the ER a few hours this week, so I think he will be prepared. Their nurse to patient ratio is 1:3, which is little different from TMH, so I think he will enjoy his time here.
From the fire the other day, they have boarded up the windows and put a tarp over the roof. We have been looking for any info over the Internet, but we have not seen anything about the fire or the cause... the mystery continues...
